Complaints for Sale - 25 cents!

Do you ever have one of those days where all your students seem to complain? "Why do you have to do this? This is pointless! I's SO HOT in here. It's SO COLD in here. More homework? Are you kidding?" Curb that complaining with a complaint jar! This is one of my favorite ideas this year so far. Simply get a jar, label it, and explain that if the students complain they owe you a quarter. One of two things will happen: you will hear significantly less complaining or you will be making money. Win win.
If students don't have money on them simply stick and IOU in the jar until they do. I have only implemented this for a month or so and look at how much money I've made:
