Typing Lyrics

Today in keyboarding class we tried a new activity. Simply play school appropriate songs and have the students attempt to type the lyrics to the song. They are not allowed to copy and paste, and the winner is simply the one with the highest word count at the end of the song. The students really loved this activity because they love music! I had the students request songs a week or so ago, and then used gomusicnow.com to purchase the songs (after I reviewed the lyrics, of course). The songs are super cheap - only 15 cents a song!
